Amway Center Debuts iPhone App


ORLANDO, FLORIDA [January 14, 2013] With the launch of its new iPhone mobile application, Amway Center fans can now connect 24/7 with their favorite arena. This first-ever mobile application for the facility is available now as a free download from Apple’s iPhone App Store.

Designed to enhance fan engagement before, during and after events, the Amway Center's app keeps users abreast of venue happenings with news and event listings, photos and videos, seating charts, directions and more. Optional push notifications place users at the front of the line for new event announcements and special offers, while interactive event listings allow fans to purchase tickets on the go or share events with friends via email, Facebook and Twitter. While visiting the Amway Center, fans can check in via Foursquare or Facebook. The user-friendly app will ensure fans will never miss an event.

Amway Center worked with Carbonhouse, the industry leader in providing website, mobile and social solutions exclusively for arenas, performing arts centers and convention centers, to develop this app. Their premier product is the only content management system built for venues to effectively drive sales and marketing programs.

Though currently available for iPhone users only, the free Amway Center mobile app will have an Android platform version in the future.

The technologically-superior Amway Center continues to offer its fans free, fast and reliable Wi-Fi to enhance the arena experience for everyone.
